Maintenance Technician
Woodview Apartments Location: Plymouth, NC Type: Full Time
Job Description

Maintenance Technician needed 35 hours/week for Woodview Apartments in Plymouth, NC. The preferred candidate must have skilled maintenance experience. Responsible for routine plumbing, light electrical, troubleshooting, common area cleaning. Maintenance Technician works closely with the Community Manager to oversee contracted services. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills, be organized and efficient. Must live within 30 minutes of the property. Selected candidate will undergo criminal, credit and pre-employment drug screening. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Competitive salary range. Responsibilities and Duties (including, but not limited to):

light plumbing

light electrical

troubleshooting various maintenance issues

coordinate and supervise vendor/contractor services

picking up trash on the grounds

cleaning the common areas

completing work orders in a timely fashion

maintaining an organized and sufficiently stocked maintenance area

turning vacant apartments (unit make ready)

provide excellent customer service

communicate effectively with co-workers, residents and vendors
