Maintenance Supervisor
The Forest Location: Greensboro, NC Type: Full Time
Job Description

Primary responsibilities include overseeing and leading the maintenance team with maintenance and repairs of assigned property.  This includes include grounds, pool, HVAC and appliances, interior and exteriors of buildings and out buildings, and apartment turns.  Additionally, this includes areas such as replacing/repairing appliances, performing repairs and preventative maintenance for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other areas.  As requested, this position will be responsible for repairs, such as carpet/vinyl, walls/painting, windows/gutters/doors, and other assorted work orders.   Other areas of responsibility will include oversight of the groundskeeping, landscaping and other duties. 

This position will require strong interactive skills; to be courteous and professional with the many residents you will encounter.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE   High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate and two year’s maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS:  Ability to read and understand operation and instruction manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.  Ability to complete, read and understand work order forms. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions one-on-one from management and tenants.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  Valid Driver’s License, CFC Certification required, Level II preferred, HVAC and Pool (CPO)certifications REQUIRED.
