Maintenance Technician
LaShawn Valley & Guilford Greene Location: Gibsonville, NC Type: Part Time
Job Description

Part-time Maintenance Technician position available 25 hours/week for two small multifamily properties in Gibsonville, NC. The preferred candidate will have skilled maintenance experience. Responsible for completing routine plumbing, light electrical, common area cleaning, scheduling vendors, etc. The Maintenance Technician is part of the team and works closely with the Community Manager on a daily basis. Must complete maintenance-related paperwork and work orders timely and effectively. Must live within 30 minutes of the property, successfully pass pre-employment screening. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities and Duties (including, but not limited to):

light plumbing

light electrical

troubleshooting various maintenance issues

coordinate and supervise vendor/contractor services

picking up trash on the grounds

cleaning the common areas

completing work orders in a timely fashion

maintaining an organized and sufficiently stocked maintenance area

turning vacant apartments (unit make ready)

provide excellent customer service

communicate effectively with co-workers, residents and vendors
